I'm desperately looking for a home, a place where I'm safe.

If I can't find it inside, where do I look?

By painting, I have found the freedom to create a space for myself where it is safe to breathe.

My body tries to help, by remembering, by feeling safe experiences.

I find them in the unbroken order of nature, on the horizon or in the corners of the home.

I paint it on canvas. A place of refuge.
